Privacy Policy
1. Who processes your data
Your data is processed by individual entrepreneur Kalkishev Daniyar Maratovich, Republic of Kazakhstan, the owner of the TikTeam service ("we", "us"). For any data question, email support@tikteam.live.
2. What data we process
- Account: email address, password hash (we never store the password itself), email confirmation status.
- Devices and sessions: device name, its public key, sign-in and sign-out times.
- Technical data: IP address and details of requests to our server — to prevent abuse, rate-limit requests and diagnose problems.
- Subscriptions and purchases: subscription status and term, purchased packs, Paddle customer and subscription IDs. Card details are collected by Paddle; we never see or store them.
- Module usage: the time a module is first launched after payment and when Avatar Overlay clips are delivered, with the account and device. We need these records to check access, enforce limits and review refund requests.
- TikTok LIVE events: when you connect your stream, events from your broadcast — gifts, likes, follows, shares and comments, together with viewers' names and avatars — pass through our server. They are relayed to the app in real time and are not stored in our database.
- Correspondence: the content of emails and messages you send us by email or on Discord.
App settings, gift rules and the clips and sounds you add are stored on your computer and are not sent to us.
The tikteam.live website uses no cookies and no analytics. The site host (GitHub Pages) and the font service (Google Fonts) receive your IP address when a page loads.
3. Why we use your data
- to provide the service and check access to modules;
- to protect accounts and the service from hacking, fraud and abuse;
- to process payments and review refunds;
- to send account emails: address confirmation, password recovery and password change;
- to answer your requests;
- to meet tax and accounting obligations.
We do not show ads and we do not sell your data.
4. Who we share data with
- Paddle — payments, taxes and refunds. Paddle handles payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Resend — sending account emails.
- Our server hosting provider — hosting the TikTeam server and its encrypted backups.
- TikTok LIVE data provider (Tik.Tools) — receiving events from your stream.
- GitHub and Google — website hosting and fonts, as described above.
- Discord — if you talk to us there.
- Public authorities — only when legally required.
Some of these companies are located outside Kazakhstan, so some data may be transferred to other countries.
5. How long we keep data
- account data — while the account exists; after deletion, no longer than 30 days, except data we must keep by law or to resolve disputes;
- payment records — for the period required by tax law;
- module usage records — 24 months;
- server technical logs — no longer than 90 days.
Backups are encrypted and overwritten on a schedule. Deleted data may remain in them for a limited time until the backup is overwritten.
6. Security
Connections to our server use HTTPS, passwords are stored only as hashes, and backups are encrypted. Only the administrator has access to the server and database.
7. Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, correct it, delete your account and its data, and withdraw your consent to processing. Email us at support@tikteam.live from the address on your account. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
8. Age
TikTeam is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We give advance notice of material changes by email or in the app. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
